The 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture Selects 6 Stunning Structures
Aga khan award for architecture is an architectural award rewarding firm which runs by an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) under Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC). In the repeat of every 3 years cycle these awards can be given to the aspirations of Islamic society’s architecture buildings for their good work and deed to the useful persons.
For the year 2016 out of 348 nominations this year, six projects were awarded as winners:

ARCHITECT BY ZHANG KE “THE CHA’ER HUTONG CHILDREN’S LIBRARY AND ART CENTRE IN BEIJING”.
ARCHITECT BY BJARKE INGELS “SUPERKILEN, A PUBLIC SPACE IN COPENHAGEN”.
ARCHITECT BY DIBA TENSILE ARCHITECTURE “THE TABIAT PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, LOCATED NEXT TO THE HOLY DEFENSE MUSEUM IN TEHRAN”.
ARCHITECT BY THE LATE ZAHA HADID’S “ISSAM FARES INSTITUTE”
